In response to growing enrollment and as an expansion of its student life offerings, the University of Washington, Bothell is offering students the opportunity to live in campus housing starting in fall quarter, September 2009.

Located a short walk from campus, the co-ed residential community will feature large one-bedroom, one-bath units, perfectly sized for two students to a unit. Each unit will come furnished and include parking, as well as utilities (water, electricity, basic cable and Internet), except phone service. A limited number of single-occupancy apartments may also be available depending on demand.

Close to shopping, restaurants and public transit, the housing community will build an engaging and supportive atmosphere that complements other activities and programs available on campus. Resident advisers will live on site, facilitating connections among residents and responding to any emergencies.

Housing is available to new and currently enrolled students (as of autumn quarter 2009) UW-Bothell students who are 18 years of age or older or who will be turning 18 years of age during the 2009-10 academic year. First priority will be assigned to those students who submit a housing application by July 15 and meet established criteria.

This is the institution’s foray into campus housing, with a goal of housing approximately 40 students.
