The forum from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the North Creek Events Center also features two candidates vying to replace Democrat Rosemary McAuliffe in the Washington State Senate, Republican Mindie Wirth and Democrat Guy Palumbo.

The event is free and open to the public.

The forum is sponsored by the Associated Students of the University of Washington Bothell and the university’s office of advancement and external relations. They invite students and community members to hear the candidates discuss education, transportation, economic development and other issues in the district that includes the university.
