Explore exciting career-focused, year-long courses for students at the Washington Network for Innovative Careers (WaNIC) program fair.

The event is for current 10th- and 11th-grade families and will run from 6–7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at the WaNIC Skills Center, Allied Health Building, 11605 132nd Ave. N.E. in Kirkland.

With more than 30 programs in the arts, business, engineering, science and technology, natural resources and health and human services, WaNIC helps expand and develop students’ diverse interests.

Courses include dental and medical careers, fire and EMS, video game programming, culinary arts and more. Come speak with the instructors and sign up for classes.

WaNIC is a consortium of seven school districts northwest of Seattle that share Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Its primary mission is to provide quality, diverse and cost-effective career and technical education for students through interdistrict cooperation.
