WineStyles, located at 22823 Bothell-Everett Highway No. 104 in Bothell, will host a fund-raiser for Stronger Families from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 11. Cost is $11 ($7 for wine-club members).

The store features wine-tasting events every Friday and Saturday evening, but “this Friday’s is of particular significance,” says store manager Andrew Weiseth. “It deserves reverence. Ignoring isn’t an option we could stand behind so it was either shut down to observe the day or leverage it for charity. We decided to use it to benefit our military families.”

Eleven Winery from Bainbridge Island will be featured at the event, and WineStyles will be donating 11 percent of all proceeds from the night’s event to support Stronger Families, a Bellevue-based nonprofit organization targeted, as its vision statement says, toward building “healthy marriages and strong families in every community,” with military families as its primary focus.
