Woodinville High School senior, Gabrielle Hall, is one of fivestudents selected as a Microsoft Youth Reporter for We Day Seattle on March 27 at KeyArena.
We Day Seattle will bring together 15,000 students in grades 7–12 tocelebrate the power of youth to create positive change in their local andglobal communities. Over 230 students from schools in the Northshore SchoolDistrict will be attending the event
Gabrielle will have a behind-the-scenes experience with backstage VIP access tothe event to tweet, blog, take photos and write stories detailing We Day Seattlefrom her perspective. She will be equipped with a Windows phone or surfacetablet, which she will be able to keep.
Featured speakers and performers at the event include Governor Jay Inslee,Jennifer Hudson, Nelly Furtado, Magic Johnson, Martin Sheen, Pete Carroll andMartin Luther King III.
We Day is an initiative of Free The Children, an international charity andeducational partner working to empower and enable youth to be agents of change,and is one of many We Day events scheduled in cities throughout Canada and theUnited States.
