Beloved Wife, Mother, Auntie and friend. A passing that came too soon for us all, Annette lost her fight with cancer on May 28, 2010 surrounded by her family and friends. Annette, a long time resident of Bothell WA, was born in Tacoma to Annabelle and Harold “Otto” Halmo on October 5, 1945. She was a graduate of Glacier High School in 1963. Annette was married to Jack Butcher for 42 years and was a proud Mother of one son Glenn Butcher, 39. Annette was very involved in her community. She was a member of the Bothell First Lutheran Church, serving with the Altar Guild and Bag Ladies. She was also a member of Sons of Norway and VFW. She belonged to a Pinochle club for 37 years. She enjoyed the ocean, camping, traveling and most of all spending time with family and friends.Many of her working years were spent at Premera Blue Cross but she was most proud of her time as a long haul truck driver, seeing the country and logging over 2 million accident free miles together with her husband Jack. Recently she had been employed at Kirkland Lodge, an assisted living facility, as an assistant activities director. She touched countless lives with her warm and loving nature. Annette is survived by her husband Jack, son Glenn of Snohomish, WA stepson Michael Butcher of Woodbine IA, 3 Aunts, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday June 11, at 2:00 pm, at Bothell First Lutheran Church, 10207 183rd St., Bothell WA.
