ESTELLA MARY KERR

Estella Mary Kerr, 94, of Bothell, WA (the Kerr family moved to Bothell, WA in 1963 from Ballard, Seattle area) passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was born December 6, 1923 in Aberdeen, WA, the daughter of the late Mathew and Ruth (Thompson) McManus.

Estella married Clark G. Kerr, Jr. in 1949 at Seattle, WA. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2004.

She ran the kitchen at Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle. Estella was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ballard and attended St. Brendan Catholic Church in Bothell. She loved family and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Estella was adventurous and always kept a positive attitude. She enjoyed bowling and picking blackberries and could find a shortcut that sometimes got them lost but never got excited or afraid.

Estella is survived by her two sons, Clark Kerr and wife Deborah and Mike Kerr; two daughters, Debbie Nervik and husband Dennis and Lynn Sherman and husband Daryl; nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren and a sister, Agnes Shearer. She was preceded in death by sisters, Goldie, Leona, Kay, and Elva and brothers, Malcolm, Ted Albert, and Gilbert.

A mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 10100 192nd Street, NE, Bothell, WA. Graveside committal will follow at 2:00 pm at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery, 205 NE 205th Street, Shoreline, WA. In lieu of flowers we know Stella would like donations to Blanchet High School or Providence Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli, 18224 103rd Avenue NE, Bothell, WA.
