Glennis Eileen Beckstrom Donelson

Glennis Donelson of Bothell passed away peacefully on the night of July 5. Born in Bothell on August 10, 1925 into the pioneer Beckstrom family, she lived nearly her entire life in the city. She was much loved by many, and is survived by her husband of 65 years Ed, sons and daughters-in-law Brian and Penny Donelson of Bothell and Norm and Laura Donelson of Woodinville, sisters Frances Watson of Sacramento and Marjorie Dunstan of Eugene, OR, grand- children Erik, Bryce, Paul, Emma and Sierra Donelson, brother/ sisters-in-law Donna Donelson, Esther Johnson and Arthur Watson, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.A lifelong member of Bothell United Methodist Church, Glennis left this world knowing she was ready and headed to the next. A devoted wife and mother, Glennis was active in a wide range of church and community organizations.In lieu of flowers, donations to Evergreen Hospice or Bothell United Methodist Memorial Fund are suggested. Services will be held at Bothell United Methodist at 3:00 on Friday, July 15.
