Harry O. Johnson, 89, died on Sunday, 8/1/10, at his home in Bothell, under the care of family and caregivers. Harry was raised in Abercrombie, ND, and began playing the fiddle at age 7. He has recorded several albums, won countless fiddle contests across the country, and his music has been memorialized in the Smithsonian. The City of Bothell proclaimed 7/6/1998 as “Harry Johnson Champion Fiddler” Day. On 12/1/1998 the local TV program “Evening Magazine” devoted a show to his fiddle music. He will be missed and loved forever.
