Homelessness in the Northshore communities is a difficult challenge for the homeless and for the communities.

On Saturday, June 4 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. the Kenmore Bothell Interface Group (K-BIG) will offer a forum on “Coming Home: A Path Out of Homelessness.” As part of the program, John Tyler, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, will talk about ways that prayer can help end homelessness.

Previous to his church position, Tyler was an advocate for human rights as a labor union organizer and social activist. Following his remarks, a panel of representatives from the homeless and homed community will share their experiences and solutions to the problems.

The forum will be held at the Bothell United Methodist Church, 18515 92nd Avenue NE, Bothell.

The event is free and open to the general public.

Refreshments will be served after the panel discussion.
