Dembowski’s statement on Wayne land preservation progress

The following is a statement from King County Councilmember Rod Dembowski:

“I am greatly encouraged by the progress made in the past week toward preserving Wayne Land in perpetuity for public use and habitat restoration.

“This is a once in a generation opportunity that we cannot miss, and I commend and thank Mayor Freed for expressing a willingness to work with the community, King County, the State and other partners to preserve this land.”
