LETTER Thanks for the memories

Dear Friends, Partners and Community Members,

Dear Friends, Partners and Community Members,

It is amazing how fast time passes. I still remember the first day I interacted with the Northshore Family Center for the first time three years ago. It has been a great journey, and even though this journey does not end here I wanted to take a moment to thank each one of you for being part of my story at the Center For Human Services at the Northshore Family Center location.

Thank you so much for your support, for sharing your knowledge with me and helping me grow. Thank you for opening your hearts and letting me be part of your lives, thank you for being part of the Family Center and for your contributions to make this center a better place for individuals, families and children.

This experience has been wonderful, and the most precious thing I can take with me is nothing else but good memories, memories in which all of you play such important role.

Thank you so much to all our volunteers who are a critical piece in building community.

Thank you to our participants for allowing me to be part of their lives and helping build strong and successful programs such as Play and Learn groups and Homework Help (just to mention a few).

Thank you so much to all our partners for allowing me to work with you, build strong partnerships and collaborate in providing quality programs here at the Northshore Family Center and off site.

Thank you to all community members and leaders for your support in making the Family Center a place to grow community.

Thank you to all my friends whom I have only had kind gestures and encouraging words.

I also want to give special thank you to my family for being loving, patient and supportive of my career as I walked through this path.

And last, but not least, thank you to all staff from the Center for Human Services, especially to the Northshore staff for coming together and building such a great team. I’m so grateful to have worked with you and learn from you. I feel so lucky and grateful to be part of this organization where people care about people, have passion and we all share a common characteristic: We truly love what we do and care for the things we do.

I look forward to continue working with you as I move on in to my new adventure as a coordinator of the SMEC (Strengthening Multi-Ethnic Families and Communities) series for parents/caregivers when I come back from my maternity leave in November.

Thank you so much and have a great summer.

Dolores Reyes
