The Bothell High School boys basketball team defeated Kelowna High School, 59-50, during their holiday tournament at Bothell High School on Saturday.

The Bothell High School boys basketball team defeated Kelowna High School, 59-50, during their holiday tournament at Bothell High School on Saturday.

Bothell dominated the first quarter, taking a 22-10 lead. Kelowna kept pace during the second quarter and outscored the Cougars, 14-7, during the third. But Bothell held on for the victory behind balanced scoring. Hunter Dean (15 points), Josh Kollman (14), Andrew Wilson (12) and Cameron Tyson (12) all scored in double figures for the Cougars.
