The Bothell High School baseball team blasted Cascade, 8-1, on Friday at home.

Kyle Edwards picked up the win from the mound, throwing four innings of shutout baseball and collecting six strikeouts.

Blake Ihrig led the team at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, while teammate Austin Baek was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.

The Cougars will host Sammamish at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
