Bothell blasts Woodinville | Prep baseball

The Bothell High School baseball team blasted Woodinville, 6-1, on Thursday to start the regular season.

Both teams collected their first run of the game during the third inning but Bothell exploded on offense for five runs during the sixth inning and never looked back.

Starting pitcher Colby Nealy threw 5.1 innings, giving up just one earned run and striking out eight batters.

Sam McPherson picked up three RBI during the contest, going 3-for-4 with a triple, while his Cougar teammate Daniel Fredrickson was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
