Bothell, Cedar Park Christian headed to the playoffs | Prep Football

Bothell quarterback Jacob Sirmon fired five touchdown passes in the Cougars’ 41-14 victory over Northshore rival Inglemoor in 4A KingCo football action on Oct. 27.

The signal caller hit Da’ Vicious Wilson and Riley Morrison twice and Jaelen Percival once for scores. Sirmon finished 19-for-23 passing for 289 yards. Morrison caught seven passes for 147 yards.

Quarterback Erik Bainter also passed to Andres Naranjo for a 10-yard TD.

For Inglemoor, Riley Mersberg scored on a 6-yard run and Cole Kindschi tallied on a 12-yard run. Braden Dick had two PATs.

Bothell (6-2 in league) will host Glacier Peak at 7 p.m. Friday in the playoffs. The winner advances to the first round of state.

* In 1A action, Cedar Park beat Tenino, 30-26, and is headed to the playoffs on Friday. The Eagles will play Meridian at 7 p.m. at Anacortes High. The winner advances to state.

Cedar Park’s scoring included Jason He’s 44-yard run, Kellan Cerrillo’s 21-yard run and Brendan Boyle’s 4-yard run. Bradley Cumley had three PATs.

* In other 4A KingCo action, Woodinville beat North Creek, 44-14, on Oct. 28.

For North Creek, Tucker DeLong threw a pair of TD passes to John McAteer (59 yards) and Jaden Landagora (29 yards).
