Bothell Cougar 78A lacrosse wins Greater Eastside Lacrosse League title

The Bothell Cougar 78A lacrosse team defeated Tahoma, 16-9, to capture the Greater Eastside Lacrosse League 78A title (GELL) on May 28 at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila.

The Bothell Cougar 78A lacrosse team defeated Tahoma, 16-9, to capture the Greater Eastside Lacrosse League 78A title (GELL) on May 28 at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila.

Bothell and Tahoma were GELL regular season co-champions, and since they did not play during regular season both were undefeated entering the game. Bothell had to defeat Issaquah, 15-6, in the quarterfinals and Bellevue, 11-7, in the semifinals. Bothell finished the GELL season 13-0. This was Bothell’s first GELL 78A championship.
