Haley Zirker scored with about 15 minutes left in the first half off an assist from Kaitlin Bean to give Bothell High a 1-0 victory over Issaquah High in 4A KingCo girls soccer action on Tuesday.

“I am extremely proud of our team to find a way to battle and compete versus a very good Issaquah team,” said Bothell coach Shaun Warner.

Bothell’s Emily Heffernan had a strong performance in goal, and Sydney Noland and Bella Murray played tough defense.

Bothell is 3–1-1 in league.
