The 4th Annual Bothell High 5K Alumni Run will take place Aug. 29 at Big Finn Hill Park in Kirkland (west entrance: 13351 Juanita Drive N.E.; east entrance/Thoreau Elementary: 8224 N.E. 138th St.).

Registration opens at 10 a.m., race/introductions are at 11 a.m. and the awards/picnic lunch is from noon to 2 p.m.

Meet at the ballfields; the race will start between the dugouts. Alumni can bring their families and a side dish for the potluck; burgers and hot dogs will be provided.

Also, alumni are encouraged to wear their old letter jackets, team shirts and uniforms.

The event is open to all Bothell High alumni of all ages and abilities. Previous affiliation with Cougar sports is not necessary.
