Bothell High School senior voted King 5 High School Male Athlete of the Year

King 5 Sports named Bothell senior Dayzell Wilson King 5 High School Male Athlete of the Year.

Wilson caught 17 touchdown passes during the regular season for football and was the top receiver for the 4A state champion Cougars.

In the spring, Wilson took his speed to the track, where he finished fifth in state in 300-meter hurdles.

King 5 Sports staff nominated seven athletes and seven teams for King 5 Male and Female Athletes of the Year and seven teams Boys and Girls Teams of the Year and communities voted for their choice. In addition to Dayzell Wilson, Inglemoor basketball star Deja Struthers was nominated for Female Athlete of the Year.
