Bothell High School junior Sarah Stavig made finals in the girls 60 meter dash and finished 10th overall at an indoor track meet last weekend.
The meet was Simplot Games, held at Idaho State University. The Simplot Games is one of the premier indoor high school track meets in North America and attracts some of the countries top talent from over 20 states and Canada/Mexico.
Stavig’s time of 7.71 for her 60 meter dash puts her in the top 10 in the country for high school juniors.
Stavig ran for Bothell High School last year and also competes in USATF/AAU track meets in the summer, where she does the 100 meter, 200 meter and long jump. She also competes in high school and college open indoor track meets during the winter where she runs the 60 meter dash.
