Bothell-Kenmore wrestlers advance to regionals

Thirteen Bothell-Kenmore wrestlers put in strong showings at the 4A KingCo championships at Juanita High and advanced to the regional tournament this weekend at Skyline High.

From North Creek — which finished fifth in the team standings — there’s Daniel Shapovalov (285, first), Cade Taliaferro (106, fifth), Andrew Seely (113, second), Zach Wilson (126, fourth), Miles Pruit (132, fourth), Hunter Tretyak (145, second), Zachery Cavin (160, fifth), Nicholas Mitchell (182, third), Parker Dalziel (195, fifth) and Damon Wallace (220, second).

From Bothell, there’s Adrian Naranjo (120, fourth) and Cody Wright (126, third).

From Inglemoor, there’s Lukas Paige (182, fifth).

At the girls sub-regional, North Creek’s Vivianee Bautista took first at 125 and Isabelle Bookout took second at 130.

The regional tournament is this weekend at Sedro-Woolley High.
