The Bothell High School football team received bad news earlier this week, as star senior Sam McPherson will be lost for the remainder of the playoffs. The team will play at 7 p.m. on Friday against Eastlake at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.

McPherson, who left the team’s game against Bethel Friday with a knee injury, has a torn ACL.

McPherson is one of the most explosive players in the state. He was voted All-State defensive back last year and was also one of the top running backs in the league this season.

McPherson ends the year with 1,079 in league play.

Tickets for Friday’s game are $8 for adults and students without an ASB card and $6 for seniors and students with an ASB card.
