The Eastlake High School softball team built up a 7-0 lead and cruised to a 7-2 4A KingCo league win over the Bothell High Cougars on Tuesday in Samammish.
Bothell’s lone RBI came in the fifth inning after Liz Olson drew 11 pitches and hit a sacrifice fly to score Leah Sailer. Megan Powers scored in the sixth inning on a wild pitch.
Julie Graf got the start and the win for Eastlake, striking out seven batters and allowing one hit in 4.1 innings. Olson took the loss for Bothell.
Morgan Olynyk was 2-2 at the plate for Eastlake with one run scored and two RBIs.
The Cougars are scheduled to play Redmond High at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Hartman Field in Redmond.
