The Bothell High School girls basketball team traveled to Seattle Wednesday to take on Garfield and got an epic overtime win 53-51.

The Cougars began the game with a 12-6 lead but the Bulldogs stormed back with a 16-8 run during the second quarter. The teams played the second half shot-for-shot and finished regulation tied 45-45.

The overtime period was just as tight but Bothell managed to edge past the home team for the win.

Taya Corosdale (15 points) and Hanna Tyndall (13 points) led the Cougars in scoring.
