The Bothell High School baseball team scored in every inning of a mercy-rule shortened game Friday, as the defeated O’Dea 12-2 in five innings.
The Cougars got on the board during the first inning with two runs, scored four more during the second, two in the third and four in the fourth. The Irish were able to prevent the shutout with two runs during the top of the third.
Bothell was led on offense by a Peyton Cordova-Smith home run, while Daniel Fredrickson was 3-for-4 with four RBI and Andrew Staten scored three times during the contest.
