Bothell High School senior quarterback Ross Bowers was nominated by a community member and selected by WIAA staff as one of the Athletes of the Week for achievements in football.

Bowers was 20-of-28 passing for 305 yards and a touchdown, as the Cougars downed Bellarmine Prep, 37-14, in the state quarterfinals.

In recognition of their accomplishment, each Athlete of the Week winner receives a congratulatory letter from WIAA Executive Director, Mike Colbrese, a commemorative WIAA State Athlete of the Week t-shirt, and a certificate. Winners are also posted to the WIAA website at www.wiaa.com
