Bothell resident Daniel Christenson, who plays soccer for Northwest University in Kirkland was honored Monday with Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The redshirt freshman had 180 shutout minutes in victories over Evergreen and Warner Pacific. The Eagle goalkeeper had 12 overall saves including seven in the second half against WPC and stopped a penalty kick in the Evergreen game which proved to be the difference in the 1-0 victory.
