The Bothell High School girls basketball team will play for third in state against Todd Beamer today at 11:15 a.m. in the Tacoma Dome.

The Cougars lost just their second game of the season, 47-41, to Snohomish on Friday during the semifinals.

A scoring lull during the second and third quarters, which saw the Cougars put up just seven points total, cost the team a chance to play for the state title. Snohomish outscored Bothell 15-5 during the third quarter alone.

Taya Corosdale led the Cougars with 19 points, while Keyonna Jones had 11.
