Bothell’s Pechan ties for 21st, Cedar Park’s Zapara shares 29th /4A-1A State Golf

Bothell High senior John Pechan fired two consistent rounds of 76-77-153 to tie for 21st at the 4A state golf tournament at Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick last Wednesday.

Pechan was the only boys golfer from Bothell or Inglemoor to make the cut at state this year. Woodinville standout Jarrett Foote, who had a share of the lead after an opening-round 69, faded to a 73 last Wednesday to finish in fourth place.

At the 1A boys tournament, Cedar Park Christian’s Grant Zapara shot rounds of 78 and 80 to finish in a tie for 29th at Columbia Point Golf Course in Richland.
