Cedar Park baseball dominates Kings for shutout

The Cedar Park Christian baseball team flexed its collective muscles with a dominating 8-0 win against Kings on Friday night.

The Eagles scored two in the fourth, two in the fifth and four during the sixth in the blowout.

Jack Flynn picked up the victory on the mound, throwing six innings of shutout baseball. He also went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Zach Cokos shut down Kings during the final inning and went 2-for-3 with an RBI at the plate. Michael Attalah was 1-for-4, with a double and two RBI. Ben Hann, who threw a perfect sixth inning, had a double and two RBI, and Jared Pletcher was 2-for-3.

The win improves Cedar Park’s record to 11-1 in league play and 14-2 overall.
