Cedar Park Christian baseball wins two, advances to state semifinals

Cedar Park Christian’s baseball team powered on to the 1A state semifinals.

The locals beat Seattle Christian, 5-2, and Castle Rock, 6-3, on Saturday at Daniels Field in Anacortes to up its record to 23-2.

The Eagles will next play Freeman at 1 p.m. Friday at Yakima County Stadium.

Cedar Park’s Michael Attalah provided the big bat and pitching arm in the second game against Seattle Christian. He smashed two homers and got the win.

George Reidy had two hits.

Against Castle Rock, Attalah had two hits and an RBI, Josiah Sergeant had two hits and two RBIs and Jack Flynn got the win to go along with one hit and two RBIs.
