The Cedar Park Christian volleyball team beat Charles Wright Wednesday in Bothell 3-1.

The Cedar Park Christian volleyball team beat Charles Wright Wednesday in Bothell 3-1.

The Bothell team began the match sluggish, losing the first game 25-23, but stormed back to blast Charles Wright, 25-18, during the second game, tying the match at 1-1.

Cedar Park used that momentum to beat Wright 25-20 during the third game.

Christian was too much for Charles Wright to keep up with as they won the fourth and decisive game 25-16.

Lani Hansen led Cedar park with 37 assists and four aces, while teammate Mikayla Massad pounded the ball for 20 kills. Rachel Kumai led the defensive effort with 17 digs.

Cedar Park improved their record to 7-6 in league play and 8-8 overall with the win.
