Cedar Park Christian bi-district-champion thrower ready for state meet

Cedar Park Christian’s Sam Van Peursem, the defending 1A state discus champion (171-02), took first in that event (168-09) and topped the shot-put field (personal record of 64-06) at the recent bi-district meet. Next up is the state meet this weekend at Eastern Washington University in Cheney.
