Cedar Park Christian hoops it up with victories / Boys Basketball

Even though Cedar Park Christian students were celebrating their mid-winter break, many found the inspiration to witness the Eagles boys basketball team’s 57-34 win over Northwest last week. With 13 points, junior Adam Stephenson swept the floor, while teammate Victor Sviridyuk followed with 12 points.

In other action, the Eagles kept up the motivation to pull through for a 51-42 victory over Seattle Academy.

Girls basketball

With the same intensity, the girls battled Overlake last Thursday to the last basket and won 49-40. Sophomore Rachel Staudacher lit up the floor with 23 points, while fellow classmate Mikaela Raschick added 11 more.

Bowling

Only in its first year of bowling at Cedar Park, the girls varsity competed at state in Kelso last weekend. After five long games of intense focus, the girls took fourth.
