Evergreen offers seminar to help prevent sports injuries

Aching athletes, limping joggers and stressed exercisers can learn about preventing strained muscles and other injuries and how to get back to doing the sport they love at the Sports Injury Seminar at 6:30 p.m. July 8 at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center, 12040 N.E. 128th St., Kirkland.

The class will identify things that contribute to injury. Instructors will introduce preventive methods that can keep athletes, joggers and casual exercisers moving.

Although the class is free, reservations are required and can be made by calling the Evergreen Healthline at (425) 899-3000.
