Football / Bothell roughs up Roosevelt, 55-0; Cougs to take on Skyline Thursday

No. 2 Bothell High completed its 4A Kingco regular season with a 55-0 pasting of Roosevelt High Friday night at Pop Keeney Stadium.

The Cougs (8-0 overall) — Crown champs — will take on No. 1 Skyline (7-1 overall) — Crest champs — at 7 p.m. Thursday at Pop Keeney for the league title.

Quarterback Mitchell Muller threw for three touchdowns (to Ryan Loutsis, Evan Hudson and Kevin Knapp) and Luke Proulx ran for two to lead the Cougs against Roosevelt. Other scores were a 68-yard punt return from Wendell Galvan, a 5-yard run from Kyle Quintos and a 27-yard pass from Braden Foley to Brendan McOmber.
