The Bothell High School baseball team defeated Newport, 7-3, on Monday in Bothell.

Cameron Gale finished the contest 3-for-4 with two doubles and five RBI for Bothell, while teammate Tyler Wharf was 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Starting pitcher Colby Nealy threw six innings, giving up just one earned run and striking out six batters for the Cougars.
