Inglemoor beats Newport for season’s first win | Prep soccer

The Inglemoor High girls' soccer team picked up it's first KingCo win of the young season on Thursday evening, beating Newport 1-0 at Newport High School in Bellevue.

The Inglemoor High girls’ soccer team picked up it’s first KingCo win of the young season on Thursday evening, beating Newport 1-0 at Newport High School in Bellevue.

Junior Chloe Nordyke scored in the 52nd minute for Inglemoor (1-0 KingCo 4A, 1-0-1), her first goal of the year.

Senior goalkeeper Saya Brown recorded the season’s first shutout.

Next, Inglemoor is scheduled for a nonconference game against Mead at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Pop Keeney Stadium.
