The Inglemoor High School girls basketball team defeated Stanwood, 56-31, during the first round of a holiday tournament played at Mountlake Terrace High School.

Inglemoor began with a 12-6 first-quarter advantage and built on that to take a commanding 32-17 halftime lead. The Vikings cruised to the victory from there by doubling up their opponents’ score during the third quarter.

Viking Alex Hagen led all scorers with 24 points.
