The Inglemoor High School softball team was defeated by Ballard Thursday 7-5 at home during the 4A KingCo tournament.

Ballard took a narrow 1-0 lead during the fourth inning before the Vikings bats came alive for five fifth-inning runs. But that would be all the offense that Inglemoor could produce.

The Beavers got hot to end the game, scoring on in the sixth and five during the bottom of the seventh to win the game.

Bella Montoya threw all seven innings for the Vikings, giving up 11 hits and striking out three batters.
