Inglemoor defeats Redmond and Eastlake | Prep cross country

The Inglemoor High School cross country team opened up their league schedule with wins against Redmond and Eastlake.

The Inglemoor High School cross country team opened up their league schedule with wins against Redmond and Eastlake.

Nick Laccinole cruised to a win at Hartman Park in Redmond with a time of 16-minutes, 15-seconds during the 5,000-meter run. He was followed by teammates Gavin Parpart and Ethan Karlinsey. Inglemoor won the team race outpacing both Redmond and Eastlake.

Rebecca Ledsham placed second overall in a time of 19:31. She was followed by teammates Bailey Fjelstul, Rebecca Crawford and Etta Moen. The girls also won the team race against both Redmond and Eastlake.

Freshman Andrew Zhao and Sophomore Harris Nakajima went 1-2 in the boys junior varsity race.

Inglemoor competes next at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Saint Edward State Park.
