The Inglemoor High School volleyball team lost in heartbreaking fashion Thursday during a fifth game tie-breaking overtime, 3-2, to Mount Si.

The Inglemoor High School volleyball team lost in heartbreaking fashion Thursday during a fifth game tie-breaking overtime, 3-2, to Mount Si.

The Vikings barely lost the first game, 25-23, but battled back to take game two, 25-18. Mount Si took the lead back with a 25-20 victory in game three but Inglemoor stormed back to take game four in dominating fashion, 25-16.

But game five was a well-played competition going back-and-forth. The home team would narrowly pull out the win, 19-17.

Vikings Hailey Harris and Miranda Cook teamed up to lead the Inglemoor offense with a combined 26 kills, while Emily Melillo finished with 35 assists. Kate Carpenter led the team on defense with 27 digs.
