The Inglemoor High School girls softball team one-hit Garfield, 10-0, in five innings Thursday in Kenmore.

Inglemoor wasted no time on offense, scoring two runs during the first inning and six in the second. The game was called due to the mercy rule during the bottom of the fifth inning, as the Vikings put two more runs on the board.

McKenzie DeKay picked up the win from the pitching circle, throwing all five innings, giving up just one hit and striking out 11 batters.

Ashley Gregory, Izzy Riddle and Hannah Shimek collected two hits each for the Vikings.
