Inglemoor swimming beats Bothell, 95-88

The Inglemoor High boys swim team beat Bothell, 95-88, in the season opener on Dec. 1 at the Juanita Pool in Kirkland.

Inglemoor’s Alex Crotteau won two individual events, taking the 50 freestyle in 22.31 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 51.45.

Inglemoor’s Charlie Bohlin won the 500 freestyle and Quinn McCloskey won the 200 freestyle.

Kyle Robertson, Spencer Straight, Bohlin and McCloskey combined to win the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay for Inglemor.

Bothell’s Cameron Birrell won the 100 breaststroke and 100 butterfly.

Corey and Brandon Stride had a big meet, combining to help Bothell won the 200 medley relay. Brandon Stride won the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke, and Corey finished third in the 200 freestyle and second in the 100 breaststroke.

Next, Inglemoor is scheduled to compete against Newport at 3 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the Juanita Pool. Bothell is scheduled to compete against Woodinville at 3 p.m. on Dec. 8 at the Redmond Pool.
