Inglemoor High’s 4A state cross-country champion Tansey Lystad placed fifth overall with a time 18 minutes, four seconds at the Nike Cross Regionals on Saturday in Boise, Idaho, qualifying her for Nike Cross Nationals Dec. 4 in Portland, Ore. It will be her second straight national championships.

She’ll participate in her third Washington/Oregon Border Clash Nov. 21 in Portland.

Kenmore Mayor David Baker has invited Lystad to the Nov. 22 City Council meeting to honor her achievement as the 4A state champion.
