Local basketball squads leap into the new year

Inglemoor’s boys basketball squad is off to a stellar start and leads the 4A KingCo Crown Division with a 4-1 record and is 10-1 overall. Bothell sports a 3-2 division record and is 7-5 overall, and North Creek is 1-4 in the division and 3-8 overall.

On the girls’ side in the Crown, Inglemoor is 3-2 and 6-2 overall, North Creek is 3-2 and 7-4 overall and Bothell is 0-5 and 0-9 overall.

In girls’ action on Thursday, Juanita will host Bothell at 7:15 p.m.

On Friday, Bothell will host Issaquah at 6:30 p.m., Inglemoor will host Skyline at 6:30 p.m. and Newport will host North Creek at 7 p.m.

In boys’ action on Friday, Bothell will host Issaquah at 8 p.m., Inglemoor hosts Skyline at 8 p.m. and Newport hosts North Creek at 8:30 p.m.

For Cedar Park Christian, the girls are 1-1 in 1A North Sound play and 4-5 overall. They will host Granite Falls at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.

The Eagle boys 0-2 in league and 4-7 overall and will play at Archbishop Murphy at 7:15 p.m. Thursday. They will host Granite Falls at 7 p.m. Friday.
