Local teams hit the diamond on Wednesday

North Creek’s softball team and Inglemoor’s baseball squad notched victories in 4A KingCo action on April 10.

For the Jaguars, Seirra Hein and Carli Zanassi each knocked three hits for four RBIs in their 16-6 victory over Mount Si.

On the Inglemoor baseball front, Zach Hedge nailed three hits for two RBIs and Sam Hollenbeck had two hits in their 8-1 win over Newport.

In other softball action, Eastlake defeated Bothell, 10-3. Bothell led 3-0 in the top of the second before Eastlake took over. For the Cougars, Tatum Powers had two hits and one RBI, Ena Borgen had an RBI single, and Charley Bishop and Lizzy Olson added singles.

Newport won 4-3 over Inglemoor, which received three hits — including a homer — from Kennadi Wuebel and three hits from Hailey King.
