Bothell High’s baseball season ended with a 3-2 loss to Mount Vernon in the 4A Wes-King District Tournament on May 2.
Bothell took a 1-0 lead in the top of the sixth inning, and Mount Vernon answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning. Bothell added one run in the top of the seventh.
The Cougars received hits from Austin Cartwright, Evan Berry, Cameron Ley and Parker Haney, who had an RBI along with Josh Davis.
Bothell finished its season with a 10-11 overall record and 9-9 KingCo mark.
