North Creek High’s volleyball squad won the 4A KingCo regular-season title with a 3-0 win over Skyline (25-20, 25-21, 25-21) on Oct. 23.

The Jaguars (8-1, 12-2) have not dropped a set in nonleague and league play since Sept. 23.

“While we are playing at a high level right now, we are gearing up for playoffs and shoring up our weaknesses in practices. Based on last year’s experience, we know that KingCo playoffs and district playoffs is only going to get tougher. However, I really like our poise when handling adversity and knowing (and preparing) what’s coming next on the schedule,” head coach Richard Abiador said.

North Creek will play a team to be determined at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at home in the KingCo tournament. Bothell will play Eastlake at 5 p.m. Oct. 30 at North Creek in the tournament.
